Skin tags, also known as acrochordons, are small, harmless growths that are common, especially as people age, and are usually found where skin rubs together. They are generally skin-colored and can appear anywhere on the body, but are often found on the neck, eyelids, armpits, groin, or under breasts.

Sebaceous cysts

Sebaceous cysts, also known as epidermoid cysts, are harmless, slow-growing bumps under the skin, often containing keratin, that typically appear on the face, neck, back, or scalp. They are not cancerous and usually don’t require treatment unless they become inflamed or infected.

Lipomas

A lipoma is a slow-growing, fatty lump that’s most often situated between your skin and the underlying muscle layer. A lipoma, which feels doughy and usually isn’t tender, moves readily with slight finger pressure. Lipomas are usually detected in middle age. Some people have more than one lipoma.
